Zero-Knowledge Proof ZKP

A cryptographic method allowing one party to prove knowledge of a secret without revealing the secret itself.

A zero-knowledge proof lets a prover demonstrate that a statement is true without revealing any information beyond the truth of that statement. In blockchain contexts, ZK proofs power ZK rollups — enabling a single compact proof to verify thousands of transactions — and privacy protocols that prove transaction validity without exposing sender, receiver, or amount. ZK technology is considered foundational infrastructure for scalable, private blockchain systems.
